Started working with Nina Luchka (trainer) May 2005

First Competition:          October 2005

My original goal was to shed a few pounds and build some muscle… well upon a recommendation of a local competition promoter I entered my first competition in London, Ontario on October 15, 2005.  The following week I competed in Toronto and came in first in my division (figure masters).   Then I caught the competition bug.  Now one year later I’ve competed in 10 competitions.   In December I will start my “off season” period for several months to add more muscle.

My lifestyle has completed changed for the better.  I’ve become so much more knowledgeable in training and nutrition; this has become a way of life.  I feel and look better than I did 20 years ago.  I’ve become an inspiration to other moms and I hope to get my personal trainer certification in the near future.   As Nina has often told me, it’s never too late to become fit and healthy.
